I would like to offer my warmest congratulations to Ms Kate Foster OBE for her nomination as Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to the Federal Republic of Somalia.

I would also like to offer my sincere appreciation to the outgoing Ambassor H.E. Ben Fender OBE for his dedicated service to our two countries and wish him well in his new posting.

I am sure that Ambassador Foster will continue the exemplary work of her esteemed predissesor and the ties between our two countries will continue to flourish.
