I had the pleasure to discuss the pre-release of my book “My Life for Somalia” on the French channel Telesud with the great Vincent Hervouet, who is a leader in his field of political journalism. My work for the last 20 years has often been behind the curtain and I am glad to share more on my ambitions and the need for security in Somalia.
When asked why I am prepared to risk everything for the people of Somalia, I simply answer it is because I see the extraordinary wealth and quality of the Somali people. When I say “My Life for Somalia”, it means I am willing to give everything to protect our interests and our children. It is time for the vicious cycle to come to an end.
